Avengers: Infinity War LEGO Set Description May Spoil The Film’s Ending

The deluge of Avengers: Infinity War content – both official and unofficial – continues unabated.

This week alone, Marvel fans have been treated to high-res postersChristmas gags and another round of story rumors featuring a potential weapon of mass destruction. Remember, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are about to confront the biggest threat they’ve ever known – bigger than even sentient supercomputers and invading aliens – as Infinity War will signal the advent of Thanos and his Black Order.

Comprised of Corvus Glaive, Ebony Maw, Proxima Midnight, and Cull Obsidian, the Mad Titan’s lieutenants are just as formidable – if not more so – than Thanos himself, which can only spell bad news for the Avengers. But as a wise man once said, bringing together a group of remarkable people has worked wonders before, and we’ve no doubt that Earth’s Mightiest Heroes will eventually be able to overcome the threat that Thanos presents.

In fact, not only are we sure that they’ll be able to defeat him, but we also may know how they’ll go about saving the day. And that’s because the full description for all the various Infinity War LEGO sets have surfaced today and while most of them tell us stuff we already knew, there are some interesting nuggets of information hidden within.

As we said above, a lot of this isn’t new – or even that significant – but what you’ll want to pay attention to is the set called “Thanos: The Last Battle.” It’s here that we can pick out a few clues as to how the film may end. For one, it teases a space-set fight to conclude the blockbuster with, which makes perfect sense, and seemingly suggests how the gang will defeat the Mad Titan, with Iron Man obviously being the one to strike the final blow.

While that’s not terribly revealing in and of itself, what is rather surprising is that if this is accurate, then it means Thanos might be dealt with by the end of Infinity War and presumably won’t be a threat in Avengers 4. Or at least, he won’t still have the upper hand by the time things wrap up, since Earth’s Mightiest Heroes will have swiped his Gauntlet.

All that being said, we probably don’t have to warn you that it’s best to take this with a pinch of salt. After all, LEGO and other toy sets have been very wrong in the past when it comes to how they describe their respective film’s plot and that can easily be the case here as well. Still, there’s a lot to dig into when it comes to these LEGO descriptions and you can bet that fans will be poring over them over the next few days as they attempt to learn whatever they can about what’s to come in Avengers: Infinity War.
