Another Avengers: Infinity War Stinger Sees Spidey Spring Into Action

x

It’s going on two years since Tom Holland was drafted into the Marvel Cinematic Universe for Captain America: Civil War and already, his on-screen rendition of Peter Parker has become a true highlight of Marvel’s mega-franchise what with his infectious enthusiasm and boundless energy.

That dynamism carried over into last year’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, in which Parker developed the closest thing to a father-son relationship that Tony Stark is likely to get. Both heroes are poised for a return later this year thanks to Avengers: Infinity War, a film that is on the verge of assembling the entire Marvel universe for a superhero smackdown the likes of which we’ve never seen before. And that’s not a phrase we use lightly.

And so, to fan the flames of excitement, Marvel Studios has unleashed yet another Infinity War promo that is heavy on action and light on dialogue. Included above, the only shot that deserves a mention is also the only new one, that being Spider-Man springing into action, which presumably takes place shortly after Peter’s Spider-Sense begins tingling on the school bus.

And that’s it, really. Granted, it’s understood Joe and Anthony Russo – not to mention the film’s core cast – are about to embark on Infinity War‘s global press tour, so expect plenty of intel (and potentially new footage?) in the weeks leading up to D-day.

Avengers: Infinity War opens worldwide on April 27th, and you’ll be pleased to know that the directors have asked fans not to spoil a movie 10 years in the making, as only a select handful of trusted individuals know the “true plot” of Avengers 3. Color us intrigued.
