For all of the mysterious plot twists and secrecy threatening to engulf Avengers: Infinity War, there are a few nailed-on certainties that viewers can expect once the lights go down on April 27th.

One, Star-Lord and Iron Man will butt heads, as having two narcissists with daddy issues in the same movie will only lead to fireworks – and big ones at that. Two, it’s since been confirmed that Infinity War contains only one post-credits scene, presumably to leave the door open to Ant-Man and the Wasp ahead of its own launch in the summer.

Last and certainly not least, as this is a new movie from Marvel Studios, fans can look forward to yet another Stan Lee cameo, and it may well be his best one yet. Or so says the legend himself, who was in attendance at last night’s red carpet event in Los Angeles to witness history in the making.

Via ComicBook.com:

I want to thank them for having spent all these years coming to see my cameos and, of course, watching the movie with it. And now I think they’re going to find the funniest cameo of all. I can’t wait until they see it.

Providing you’re not avoiding every possible story detail under the sun, details of Stan Lee’s Infinity War cameo have already been revealed. Word is it takes place just before Spidey leaps from his school bus, at which point the camera cuts to the driver’s seat and, low and behold, Mr. Lee is behind the wheel, where he remarks that the sudden clang “must have been a bug.”

It’s a little on the nose, but given what’s at stake, it’s reassuring to note that Lee’s cameo comes during one of the sequel’s quieter moments, lest his presence take away from the magnitude of Avengers: Infinity War.
