Infinity War Blowout Reveals Some New Story Details For Marvel’s Event Film

Thanks to a newly-unveiled Marvel companion piece, we now have some brand new story intel relating to Avengers: Infinity War.

Before creation itself, there were six singularities…

Of course, after 10 years and 17 films’ worth of groundwork, we know those same singularities were later forged into Infinity Stones, powerful ingots capable of manipulating the very fabric of time and space. So it’s small wonder why Thanos simply can’t wait to get his giant, purple hands on a fully-armed Infinity Gauntlet.

Standing in his way are Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, a group of superpower individuals that have already endured great losses and a full-blown Civil War of their own. But Marvel’s ragtag crew are about to face their most desperate hour, and that’s when Avengers: Infinity War gets going in earnest.

Slated for May 4th, we’re already beginning to uncover the minutia of Joe and Anthony Russo’s event film – for the record, the directing duo recently wrapped filming on its 2019 sequel Avengers 4. And below, you’ll find some all-new intel that’s been pulled from the pages of IncrediBuilds: Marvel: Infinity Gauntlet Deluxe Book and Model Set.

Available for $29.99 through Amazon (with a tip of the hat to Reddit) and set to arrive in April, Marvel’s latest companion piece is described as so:

The Infinity Stones grant their individual wielders immense power that can influence the very fabric of the universe. Now Marvel fans can gather all six Infinity Stones and build their own Infinity Gauntlet with this deluxe IncrediBuilds kit! The included 32-page deluxe book is packed with information on each Infinity Stone, from their initial emergence to their role throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The wood model is easy to assemble and snaps together to form a dynamic, displayable 3D version of the Infinity Gauntlet.

Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War will shake the MCU down to its very foundations on May 4th, 2018, before Avengers 4 ushers in a whole new era in 2019. Rumor has it that the latter tentpole will wander down the route of hard sci-fi (read: time travel, alternate realities…that kinda’ thing), though a newly-unveiled photo suggests otherwise. We will have answers soon, though, as Infinity War is only four months away.
