Full Line-Up For The MCU’s New Avengers May’ve Been Revealed

Avengers: Endgame concluded the Infinity Saga and the era of the original Avengers line-up earlier this year, but Earth's Mightiest Heroes won't be gone for good. Kevin Feige has confirmed that Phase 4 won't feature an Avengers movie in order to allow the franchise to refresh itself first, but it's been reported by a variety of sources that a New Avengers film is on the way. And no doubt the roster of the team will look a lot different.

And no doubt the roster of the team will look a lot different.

In fact, We Got This Covered has been informed by our source (the same one who revealed Taskmaster as Black Widow‘s villain months ago, and the one who told us the leads in Ghostbusters 3 would be young teens, both of which were later confirmed) that Marvel already knows who the revamped Avengers line-up will consist of. We’ve been told that the New Avengers movie will definitely happen “eventually” and here’s who it’ll star: Captains Marvel and America, the Mighty Thor, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Shang-Chi, Scarlet Witch, Ant-Man, the Wasp and Blade.

So, let’s inspect who we’ve got here. The two Captains, Carol Danvers and Sam Wilson, are both primed to be major players in the MCU going forward (see: Captain Marvel 2 and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier). Likewise, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Scarlet Witch and Doctor Strange are all second-gen Avengers who’ve got sequels or TV shows coming. Shang-Chi and Blade, meanwhile, are two new faces who we’ll meet over the next few years.

As for Jane Foster, she’s an older face, but she’s due to become Thor herself in Thor: Love and Thunder. Apparently, that’s not just a one-off thing for the movie, either, and she’ll continue on as the Goddess of Thunder afterwards it seems, taking the place of Chris Hemsworth’s version on the Avengers.

Again, don’t expect to see these heroes come together anytime soon, as Marvel has many movies to get through beforehand. There’s the five of Phase 4, plus all those that Feige talked about at Comic-Con, like a variety of sequels and reboots for the X-Men and the Fantastic Four. But when the Avengers do return, and they definitely will, the aforementioned line-up is apparently what they’ll look like.
