Here’s When To Take Your Bathroom Break During Avengers: Endgame

Hopefully you won't have to go to the washroom during Avengers: Endgame, but if you do, this is probably the best moment to do so.

Ever since the runtime for Avengers: Endgame was announced, fans haven’t been able to decide whether or not they’re in favor of such a lengthy film. As you surely know by now, it’s set to be over three hours long, which is easily the longest in Marvel history and even rivals the “Ultimate Edition” of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice for longest superhero movie ever.

Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, the writers behind Avengers: Endgame, believe that the length is just right, though. In a recent interview, they told fans to expect it to be a “lean” three hours, and while that’s good to hear, moviegoers who drink too much soda may still need to take a bathroom break at some point.

But when exactly is the best time to go to the washroom during Avengers: Endgame? We’ve heard that it’s a pretty action-packed film, with not much slowdown or low-key moments. As such, it may be difficult to find the perfect time to leave your seat. That being said, there is one scene which, as Collider points out, may be safe to miss.

It comes at about an hour into the film and should be familiar to anyone who’s seen the trailers. Without spoiling too much, it’s that scene in the rain in Tokyo, where we first lay eyes on Jeremy Renner’s Ronin. It’s only a couple minutes long, and even if you miss it, you won’t be missing very much and can likely figure out what went down while you were in the bathroom.

If you don’t take this opportunity to head to the washroom, well, then we hope you’ve got a large bladder, as there really isn’t any other good time to go. At least, not without missing something important or, even worse, missing one of the movie’s many surprises or twists.

Honestly, it’s best to just use the bathroom before you sit down to see Avengers: Endgame, because after waiting this long for it to arrive, why even risk missing a second of it?
