Much attention and speculation has been paid to the first trailer for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, which has been rumored to debut at several comic book conventions and to be attached to every Warner Brothers film from The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies to Jupiter Ascending. Now, it appears that the wait is (really) almost over, as the trailer will reportedly arrive alongside Mad Max: Fury Road on May 15h, 2015.

Latino Review was first to suggest that Mad Max would carry with it our first look at one of the most anticipated comic book films of all time, but it was Collider that slapped the rumor with an official confirmation. According to their sources, the trailer is “absolutely” attached to Fury Road, and could even appear online before that if Warner Brothers’ marketing team is confident enough to battle Disney’s marketing behemoth that will accompany Avengers: Age of Ultron (a film that itself carries the next trailer for another little film called Star Wars: The Force Awakens).

Whatever ends up happening, using Mad Max to promote BVS makes quite a bit of sense, as it’s WB’s first big film of the summer and arrives two weeks after Age of Ultron, which should be enough time to escape the marketing blitz and waves of internet buzz sure to follow its premiere.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice will explode into theaters on March 25ht, 2016. It stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Ray Fisher, Jason Momoa, Jena Malone, Diane Lane, Holly Hunter, Scott McNairy, Christina Wren, Callan Mulvey, Harry Lennix, Tao Okamoto and Jeremy Irons.
