As theories take the Internet by storm and fans continue to deliberate over that Comic-Con trailer, one thing’s for sure: Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice won’t be too far away from online conversation until next March – and even beyond that. Now, the latest tidbit doing the rounds online is in relation to the suits worn by Supes, The Caped Crusader and Gal Gadot’s Amazonian Warrior.

Together they make for a rather striking photo, but they’re also DC’s heroic trifecta, and in an interview with People’s Choice Blog, the film’s Costume Designer Michael Wilkinson has shared a handful of juicy tidbits relating to the suits worn by the aforementioned trio.

From brass knuckles to the subtle design lining Wonder Woman’s armor, Wilkinson has poured a ton of detail into the creation of the suits, and in the brief snippet the designer even touches on the revisions made to Henry Cavill’s Superman guise in the jump from Man of Steel to Dawn of Justice.

“Zack had a great idea to have some Kryptonian script subliminally included in the details of the suit, so we made that happen,” Wilkinson said, presumably of Superman’s updated Man of Steel costume. “There is ancient Greek script on Wonder Woman’s weapons too. My favorite details of the batsuit are the brass knuckles on the gloves.”

How long it will take ardent fans of Dawn of Justice and all things DC to decipher the subtle markings engraved on the suit and blade remains to be seen, but it’s interesting note the level of detail being implemented into these most iconic suits. After all, with a Justice League film on the cards not to mention a variety of cameos lined up, each respective actor will be sporting the armors multiple times, which explains Snyder and Wilkinson’s pensive attention to detail.

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice will arrive on March 25, 2016.
