Bellflower Trailer

Bellflower has got to be one of the most interesting looking films to come out this year. Its premise sounds very odd and unique and most of the reviews for the film have been quite positive. Everyone seems to be agreeing on one thing and that is that Bellflower is best when viewed totally blind, without any reading up on the story or watching any clips. I've tried my best to stay away from any spoilers for the film, but I caved in and watched the new trailer that has hit the web.

I’ve tried my best to stay away from any spoilers for the film, but I caved in and watched the new trailer that has hit the web.

The new trailer doesn’t really give away too much. In fact, it’s all a bit confusing. It forms ideas on where the story could go and the quotes from the various reviewers are certainly intriguing. I don’t think I should say anything more about the film as I don’t want to ruin it for those who have managed to bypass information on the film for this long. If you are interested though, you may want to check out the trailer below.

Bellflower is written/directed by Evan Glodell. He also stars in the film alongside Tyler Dawson and Jessie Wiseman. It will be hitting theaters on August 5th, 2011. Make sure to check out our review and our interview with Evan.

Bellflower follows two friends as they venture out into the world to begin their adult lives. All their free time is spent building flame-throwers and weapons of mass destruction in hopes that a global apocalypse will occur and clear the runway for their imaginary gang “Mother Medusa”. While waiting for the world to end, their call to excitement comes unexpectedly when one of them meets a charismatic young woman and falls hard in love. Quickly integrated into a new group of friends, they set off on a journey of betrayal, love, hate, infidelity and extreme violence more devastating and fiery than any of their apocalyptic fantasies.

I'm an avid watcher of films and I just love discussing and sharing them with the world. I enjoy horror, sci-fi and mostly any genre under the sun, plus I have a slight obsession with Blu-ray's and the whole high definition craze.
