Benicio Del Toro To Star In Oliver Stone’s Savages
Deadline is reporting that Benicio Del Toro is set to star in Oliver Stone’s Savages. The film, based on Don Winslow‘s book, will tell the story of two marijuana growers who go up against the Mexican cartel when their shared girlfriend is kidnapped. Del Toro will play an enforcer for the cartel. Additional cast members include Aaron Johnson and Taylor Kitsch who will play the two growers. Also, Olivia Wilde is close to inking a deal that would have her playing the girlfriend. With production starting in June, it shouldn’t be too long before we hear more on casting.
