Blade And Wolverine Do Battle On Brilliant Fan-Made Poster

Marvel Studios has been very good to its fans over the past ten years, with a huge number of comic book heroes uniting on the big screen. However, there are a few dream scenarios that, while they’ve been discussed and theorized, don’t seem to be able to feasibly happen. Two of those include a return for Wesley Snipes as vampire hunter Blade and Hugh Jackman to make the jump from the X-Men franchise as Wolverine.

Imagine if both actors returned to their iconic Marvel roles for a future movie set in the MCU, though? How cool would that be? Well, you don’t have to imagine it anymore as as fan artists Boss Logic and George Evangelista have combined their talents to mock up a poster for a Blade reboot that would see the Daywalker go fang to claw with Jackman’s Logan – complete with comic book accurate costumes!

Since reports surfaced that Disney’s planning on buying out 20th Century Fox, Marvel fans have been praying for Hugh Jackman to come out of retirement and play Wolverine again in the MCU. Unfortunately though, and understandably, the actor has stated that he feels he’s done all he can with the character. In any case, an X-Men/Avengers crossover might not even be possible anymore, if Comcast goes ahead and beats Disney to the punch.

As for Blade, Wesley Snipes always seems to be up for a fourth appearance as the supernatural superhero, even 14 years since he last played the role in 2004’s Blade: Trinity. Kevin Feige isn’t ruling out the idea of doing something with the character in the future, either, but right now we’re not sure how his horror-infused, much more mature corner of the MCU would fit in with the Avengers’ world.

With Phase Four opening up the MCU in new, exciting ways, however, who knows what might happen? We just wouldn’t keep our fingers crossed for that Blade vs. Wolverine movie in 2020.
