Blake Lively Or Rosie Huntington-Whiteley May Join The Wolf Of Wall Street

When I heard rumblings of this over a year ago I thought that it may have just been wishful thinking on my part, but it seems not. In November of last year Jordan Belfort the author and subject of The Wolf Of Wall Street stated that Blake Lively was lined up for the female lead in The Wolf Of Wall Street.

With a recently announced August start date, I thought it would be a good time to go back to this. Belfort told the Hearld Sun that Lively was going to play DiCaprio’s character’s ex-wife in the film, but now that the real life couple has broken up, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley may take her place.

“I don’t think that is happening any more, but I heard rumblings they might get Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, the British actress who would be the right fit.”

Personally, I doubt Scorsese will work with Huntington-Whiteley and if there are no hard feelings between DiCaprio and Lively she seems like a perfect fit for the film. Physically she seems right and she is growing a powerful body of work, having been directed by Martin Cambell, Ben Affleck and Oliver Stone as of late.

Nothing is confirmed yet but we’ll keep you posted on more updates as we get them.
