So work the thought processes of the masterminds behind the latest international poster for upcoming James Bond film Skyfall (we assume). It’s standard Bond fare, with the agent (once again played by Daniel Craig) striding down that iconic tunnel: only now it’s all grimy and stuff, and with a jazzy border to boot!

A quick glance at the Instagram app tells me these marketers have been savvy enough to hit the ‘Kelvin’ effect before finalizing their latest promo. No doubt to appeal to the latest generation of hipster kids just waiting to ‘Nashville’ or ‘X-Pro’ their every meal. Before you jump down my throat, don’t worry: I’m firmly in that camp too. This is all just gentle, humorous self-depreciation.

Anyway, it’s always nice to see more Bond stuff, because that means that it’s nearly time for the film itself! Which, of course, is now only six weeks away for those in most of Europe, with a release date of October 26. I
