Ahead of San Diego Comic-Con getting underway, Disney and Lucasfilm have gotten the party started a little earlier with the rip-roaring new featurette for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Clocking in at around three minutes in length, the all-new sizzle reel arrives in tandem with Star Wars Celebration taking place in London. Those who aren’t able to attend the event in person will be pleased to note that the Rogue One panel will be streamed online, meaning you can keep pace with all of the Star Wars trinkets from the comfort of your own home.

When it comes to this latest trailer, ardent fans will no doubt comb through each and every frame, but it’s interesting to see the ways in which Gareth Edwards’ prequel has been tweaked ever so slightly in light of those reshoots.

Disney’s ragtag crew of outlaws and bandits consists of Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), Baze Malbus (Jiang Wen), Rebel fighter Bodhi Rook (Riz Ahmed), Alan Tudyk’s droid K-2SO, and the villainous Imperial leader Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn). There’s also roles for Mads Mikkelsen as Jyn’s father, James Earl Jones, returning in his iconic role of Darth Vader and Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma – who is set to enjoy a “significantly larger” role in Gareth Edwards’ offshoot.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story – phase two of Lucasfilm and Disney’s franchise revival – will make a beeline for theaters on December 16. Below, you’ll find the awe-inspiring new poster, one that teases a rebellion built on hope, not to mention a fresh peek at the revised Shoretropper.
