2016 has been an awfully big year for Brie Larson. After breaking out with the phenomenal Room at the end of last year, she went onto pick up an Oscar for her performance alongside numerous other honors and awards. Not too long after that, she was announced to be starring in Captain Marvel and also has a role in Kong: Skull Island that we’re starting to get excited about.

Not content to simply rest on her laurels, Larson is continuing to stack on the projects, this time lining up Unicorn Store as her directorial debut. It will follow a woman named Kit (who the actress will play) as she “moves back in with her parents and receives an out-of-the-blue invitation to the titular store that test[s] her ideas of what it really means to grow up.”

Scripted by Samantha McIntyre, Unicorn Store was originally lined up for Rebel Wilson to star in, with Miguel Arteta directing. Obviously, that never materialized and now, Larson has stepped in to get the project off the ground. She hasn’t recruited anyone else yet to co-star alongside her, but with her involvement now official, expect to hear more soon.
