Broadway Musical ‘Jersey Boys’ To Become A Film

No this is not the story of Ron, Pauly D, Vin and The Situation. Rather, Jersey Boys is a broadway musical that tells the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, a tremendously talented singing group from New Jersey. The band had numerous hits such as 'Oh What A Night', 'Big Girls Don’t Cry', 'Rag Doll', 'Sherry', and 'Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You'.

No this is not the story of Ron, Pauly D, Vin and The Situation. Rather, Jersey Boys is a broadway musical that tells the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, a tremendously talented singing group from New Jersey. The band had numerous hits such as ‘Oh What A Night’, ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’, ‘Rag Doll’, ‘Sherry’, and ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You’.
Jersey Boys did tremendously well during its time on broadway. It opened in 2005 and has sold over $1 billion in tickets. I’ve seen the play twice and it is certainly a fantastic show.

Now we have news that the play will be turned into a film. The movie will be written by the same people who wrote the book that the musical was based on. The news isn’t terribly surprising or shocking, most guessed that a film would be made soon enough but it still is great news.

Having really enjoyed the play, I can’t wait for the movie. It’ll be interesting to see who they get to play the lead roles. Who do would you like to see play Frankie?
