As is often the case with major releases, accompanying merchandise usually precedes it, and that’s the focus of today’s news concerning Captain America: Civil War. While its official series of LEGO sets have yet to receive an authorized press release, images of the proposed constructions have snuck onto the web.

Typically, LEGO kits get creative with the plot, characters and brand as they need to be completed months in advance in order to hit shelves on time. So, it’s understandable that changes are made. However, the Iron Man 3 sets – among many others – included massive spoilers, and now it looks like Marvel’s gone and done it again.

Be warned, if you don’t want to know this plot revelation, then we’d advise not scrolling any further.

Still here? OK. The three battles depicted in the image include the character Giant-Man. This lends credence to an earlier rumor that Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang would transform from the diminutive Ant-Man into the massive Giant-Man, who stands at approximately 15 feet tall.

Of course, he might simply be an addition to the LEGO kits and not appear in the film, and there’s a chance the image has been doctored. Both would make sense and we’d normally have already backburnered this if it weren’t for Peyton Reed’s comments earlier this year. The Ant-Man helmer stirred the pot this summer when he dropped this hint:

Listen, I think with Hank Pym and Scott Lang, and with that technology, I think it’s safe to say at some point somewhere you’re going to see some real growth…,” said Reed, pausing to look at the camera before continuing, “…for that character. I hedge my bet there, because it could be sort of growth as a human being, emotional growth, or literal giant growth. There’s a good chance of that.”

So… that’s a yes then, right? Who knows if Reed was kidding or not, but in light of these leaked images, we’re starting to think that Scott Lang is in for another major life change. Check out the promo image below and let us know what you think.

Captain America: Civil War opens on May 6, 2016 and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Elizabeth Olsen, Frank Grillo, Chadwick Boseman, Jeremy Renner, Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie.
