In the wake of the social media embargo lifting for Captain Marvel, Twitter saw the emergence of an array of glowing responses that not only offered their assurances that Carol Danvers’ solo debut will be one to watch, but also indicated that the movie will have two post-credits scenes, at least one of which will tease the adventure to come in Avengers: Endgame. And thanks to sources close to We Got This Covered, it seems that we now know what each of these clips has in store.
UPDATE: Disney has asked that we remove any and all spoilers from this article. As such, we’ve decided to take out the description of the post-credits scenes. Apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause.
If all we’re hearing is true, then it sounds like Marvel Studios is finally ready to show Carol Danvers sharing the screen with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes after seemingly going out of their way to exclude the character from previous Endgame promotion. Who knows, maybe she’ll even show up in the next trailer?
In any case, though Captain Marvel is still a couple of weeks away from reaching cinemas, the recent social media response bodes very well for the film, which already had a strong buzz and promising box office projections behind it. You can judge for yourself if Carol’s MCU debut is worth all the hype when it arrives in theaters on March 8th, 2019, before the heroine presumably gets some bad news about her old friend Nick Fury when Avengers: Endgame comes out on April 26th.
