That all changes with the release of Bohemian Rhapsody, though, which puts Malek front and center as the late, great Freddie Mercury. And while a handful of fans expressed some worries about his casting when it was first announced, those fears have quickly been silenced following the unveiling of the actor as Queen’s former frontman in the exhilarating first trailer.

But just in case you needed more, the studio has another preview on the way and ahead of its debut tomorrow, we’ve got a quick sneak peek of it up above. It’s really just an appetizer for the main course, so don’t expect too much, but it certainly whets the appetite for the real deal and we can’t wait to see more.

Because whether it’s the signature white vest and blue jeans ensemble, or the way in which Malek channels Mercury’s flamboyant performances, the attention to detail in Bohemian Rhapsody is uncanny and it’s now among our most-anticipated films of 2018. Freddie Mercury was always known and loved for his wild stage persona, which is something the Mr. Robot star seems to have recreated to perfection.

And though Malek will no doubt steal all the headlines as Freddie – not unlike Mercury himself all those years ago – Bohemian Rhapsody also stars Gwilym Lee as Brian May, Joe Mazzello as John Deacon and Ben Hardy as Roger Taylor. Look for the pic to open nationwide on December 25th, 2018.
