Back in December, it was reported that Cate Blanchett was in talks with Marvel to join Thor: Ragnarok. While her casting hasn’t been officially confirmed by the studio yet, one of her co-stars may have accidentally gone ahead and done just that, while also revealing what type of role she’ll have in the film.

During the BAFTA Awards Season Tea Party this weekend, Mark Ruffalo spoke with ET about Blanchett’s involvement with Thor Ragnarok, and here’s what he said:

“I’m so thrilled. I saw her at the Governors’ banquet here and heard that maybe she was circling, they were talking to her about the part, so I ran up to her and I was like, ‘Please, please, please make this work!’ She’s just one of the best, and to have her play a baddie is going to be really exciting.”

So again, still nothing from Marvel, but that definitely sounds like confirmation. Of course, the question on everyone’s mind now is who exactly Blanchett will be playing. Seeing as it has to be a female villain, that certainly narrows it down, but just which role will she be taking on?

Thor: Ragnarok drops into theatres on November 3rd, 2017.
