Now, I’m sure you’ve probably heard about how some actors won’t watch their own movies for a variety of reasons, but one in particular thinks she may find Pennywise’s onscreen exploits to be too intense. Though I’m sure what she had to say may have been partly in jest, those who are involved in the production are privy to information the rest of us are not.

In case you’re wondering which actress I’m talking about, that’d be Joan Gregson, who played opposite Jessica Chastain in the creepy first teaser trailer released. While speaking with Empire, she confessed the following:

“It’s my first horror, and I had a wonderful time. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Andy [Muschietti] and Jessica [Chastain]. I’m really looking forward to it – and I’m scared to death, actually, because I know there are lots of things that are just going to terrify me. One of my daughters is refusing to see it. I may jump out of my skin at some point.”

Based on what she said, I think Gregson will still watch the finished product. Hey, it may prove to be one hell of a fright fest, but she and her colleagues will have a lot to be proud of if the sequel is anywhere near as good as its predecessor.

Actually, it’s already being said that this’ll enjoy the biggest opening weekend ever recorded for an R-rated movie, and that’s saying something following the recent accolades of two Deadpool pictures. Thousands of gallons of blood notwithstanding, that’d be pretty impressive.

IT: Chapter Two arrives in theaters on September 5th.
