New Line Cinema has pumped out a series of character posters for upcoming rom-com How to Be Single, spotlighting some of the leading ladies of Christian Ditter’s (Love, Rosie) flick ahead of its arrival in early February.

Headlining the drama is the straight-laced Alice (Dakota Johnson), who struggles to come to terms with the minefield known as modern romance. In her search for love, Johnson’s modest protagonist recruits the ying to her yang in Rebel Wilson’s boisterous Robin, who sets about coaching her much more humble significant other in the deft art of dating.

After bringing together an exciting ensemble of talent, last month brought forth the first trailer for How to Be Single, and while it included a handful of belly laughs and charming interplay between Wilson and Johnson, there wasn’t necessarily any unique selling points to set it apart from its peers. Nevertheless, with a solid female cast in tow, there’s little doubt that New Line’s rom-com will find an audience of its own early next year – particularly with the charismatic Rebel Wilson on board.

How to Be Single will open in theaters on February 12, 2016 – offering a much more calming cinematic experience than, say, Fox’s rendition of the Merc with a Mouth – Leslie Mann, Alison Brie, Jason Mantzoukas, Damon Wayans Jr., Anders Holm and Nicholas Braun also star. To get acquainted with the core cast ahead of the film’s February bow, check out the character posters below.

There’s a right way to be single, a wrong way to be single, and then…there’s Alice. And Robin. Lucy. Meg. Tom. David. New York City is full of lonely hearts seeking the right match, be it a love connection, a hook-up, or something in the middle. And somewhere between the teasing texts and one-night stands, what these unmarrieds all have in common is the need to learn how to be single in a world filled with ever-evolving definitions of love. Sleeping around in the city that never sleeps was never so much fun.
