Director Rupert Wyatt has caught the eye of many after his very well received Planet of the Apes reboot, Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes. While he is still planning to make sequels for FOX and carry on the ape saga, he’s also looking to make other films. One of which is Agent 13, a sci-fi film starring Charlize Theron.
Variety tells us that a number of studios are after the project but aside from that, we have no further details on the film. No details about the script either, which is from T.S. Nowlin.
Theron has been working on re-inventing her image lately. After a number of bad career moves (Hancock, Battle In Seattle, Aeon Flux), she’s starting to pick up some quality roles. Theron earned great reviews for Young Adult which released last year and she has two huge blockbusters coming up in the next few months, Snow White and The Huntsman and Prometheus.
With a solid director attached and a big name like Theron set to star, Agent 13 could be a film worth keeping your eye on.
