Check Out Another Bite-Sized Promo For Kingsman: The Golden Circle

Without a doubt, Kingsman: The Secret Service was one of the very best films of 2014, though you may not know it. Despite being a comic book movie and based on a fairly popular property, it hardly has the fanbase of something like a Marvel or DC effort. Still, enough people put down their money to see it back when it was released that 20th Century Fox made the wise decision to give the go ahead for a sequel.

Titled Kingsman: The Golden Circle, the follow-up is quickly approaching – it debuts on September 22nd – and the marketing campaign has now kicked off. Earlier this week, we got a blink and you’ll miss it promo that offered up a very brief idea of what to expect and now, we’ve got another one. Of course, this is all leading to the first, full-length trailer, which will be with us tomorrow, but until then, you can feast your eyes on the bite-sized teaser above and catch a glimpse of Matthew Vaughn’s upcoming sequel.

There’s not much here, unfortunately, but we do get a look at some of the action as well as several of the new faces in the cast, including Channing Tatum. He’s on board as Agent Tequila, a cocksure cowboy. He’s the ying to Taron Egerton’s Eggsy’s yang, essentially, given that Tequila is a multi-billionaire with a drinking problem – hence the nickname. In fact, as Vaughn revealed to Empire recently, the Statesmen will be housed up in a giant distillery in the heart of Kentucky, which tees up a nice counter to the Britishness of Gary Unwin and his well-tailored assistant, Merlin (Mark Strong).

Tatum is just one of the new recruits to enrol for The Golden Circle though, after 20th Century Fox plucked Jeff Bridges and the Oscar-winning Halle Berry to play fellow agents. The former will portray Agent Champagne, the fearless leader of the American spy organization who prefers to be addressed as Champ. Halle Berry, meanwhile, is attached to the part of Ginger, a tech aficionado who has much more in common with Strong’s PA than meets the eye. Will Kingsman 2 foster a romance between the two? Time will tell.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle will take the action Stateside on September 29th. Those in the UK will be able to catch Eggsy’s next adventure a little earlier when Matthew Vaughn’s action sequel opens on September 22nd.
