While 2016 is certainly going to be an exciting year for comic book movies, 2017 might just have it beat thanks to the release of the likes of Justice League and Spider-Man. However, perhaps the most significant superhero adaptation on the way next year is Wonder Woman.

Everyone from Joss Whedon to George Miller have tried to get Wonder Woman in a movie in some form over the years, but it’s now down to Patty Jenkins as she places the Amazonian Warrior in a World War I setting.

While the first footage from the film is expected to be released later tonight via The CW, the official social media accounts for Wonder Woman have unveiled the move’s official logo. It obviously doesn’t reveal anything about what we should expect to see in the DC Comics flick, but it’s still pretty cool to see this iconic hero get the same title treatment as characters like Batman and Superman.

Starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner, Lucy Davis, Danny Huston, Saïd Taghmaoui, David Thewlis, and Robin Wright, Wonder Woman is set for a June 23rd, 2017 release.
