Unless you’ve been living under a rock for about ten years with earplugs in, a rather fetching blindfold and a phone without 3G, you’ll know that Man Of Steel will hit cinemas in just over a month. Warner Bros. are continuing to churn out marketing material just on the off-chance you haven’t seen any and today, a new TV spot and poster have arrived online for your viewing pleasure.

The film’s most recent trailer debuted a couple of weeks ago and blew the previous one out of the water. This latest TV spot, clocking in at 30 seconds is the bonsai’d version. It includes Russell Crowe’s voiceover narration as Jor-El (Superman’s Papa) and a plethora of shots of people looking up at what appears to be a plane. But we know….it’s Superman. Just about. There’s no new footage here but it’s still a tasty teaser for what’s to come in June, which you can judge for yourself.

His brief appearance in the TV spot aside, ole red pants goes full-on kinetic in the final poster released today. The city below a blur, Cavill’s hero soars above the rooftops and gives the camera his best Blue Steel/Don Draper impression.

For you rock sleepers, Man Of Steel is all about Superman’s journey from a boy to a man. After discovering that he is not from Earth, he goes on a quest to find out from where he hails and what his purpose in life is. Henry Cavill stars as the Man of Steel, alongside Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Christopher Meloni, Russell Crowe, Michael Kelly, Harry Lennix and Richard Schiff.

I miss Brandon Routh. Anyone?

Man Of Steel opens in theatres everywhere June 14th in 2D, 3D, IMAX and Betamax.
