Troll Hunter is a Blair Witch-esque mockumentary that tells the story of a group of college students who travel into the forest to film a documentary about a supposed bear poacher. Instead of finding the poacher, the students stumble upon something far more remarkable, a man who hunts giant trolls. The Norwegian original was directed by Andre Ovredal and features a mostly unknown cast.

With the rights to Troll Hunter only just acquired no casting has yet to be announced though one can expect that another mostly unknown cast is likely with the Trolls as the true stars of the film.
