Chris Evans Joins The Iceman

Chris Evans (Captain America) is all set to star as a contract killer in the biopic The Iceman, taking over the role originally earmarked for James Franco. This is one of two biopics in the works based on the criminal activity of Richard 'The Iceman' Kuklinski - a hired hand for the mafia convicted of committing more than 100 violent murders.

Chris Evans (Captain America) is all set to star as a contract killer in the biopic The Iceman, taking over the role originally earmarked for James Franco.

This is one of two biopics in the works based on the criminal activity of Richard ‘The Iceman’ Kuklinski – a hired hand for the mafia convicted of committing more than 100 violent murders.

The film will star Michael Shannon (Man of Steel) as the infamous killer and will be adapted from the biography The Iceman: The True Story of a Cold-Blooded Killer.

Production for the film is rumoured to begin in January 2012 with Ariel Vromen attached to direct.
