Cinemaholics #56: Tomb Raider Review

This week, your favorite Cinemaholics review Tomb Raider, the new film adaptation of the hit video game featuring the action adventure exploits of Lara Croft, played this time by Alicia Vikander. Film critics have been mixed on the pic so far, but the Cinemaholics definitely have their own take on the budding franchise. Tune in to find out what it is!

Later in the show, the gang reviews Love, Simon from director Greg Berlanti, a new coming-of-age high school dramedy about a closeted gay teen who finds anonymous love online. Will, meanwhile, talks about Gringo, a recent crime comedy starring David Oyelowo, Charlize Theron, Sharlto Copley, and Joel Edgerton, and Maveryke breaks down the pros and cons of Jessica Jones Season 2 on Netflix.

Finally, Jon and Maveryke discuss their sleepy feelings on the new political satire comedy The Death of Stalin and quickly tease their thoughts on the first few episodes of Love Season 3, while Will shares his thoughts on the teen fantasy Every Day, starring Angourie Rice and Justice Smith.
