Yesterday kickstarted the 365 day countdown to when Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice will careen into multiplexes the world over. March 25, 2016 is a long way off, and expectation surrounding Zack Snyder’s superhero team-up movie continues to mount on a daily basis. Rumors, casting news and set images have all cluttered the web and sparked much early excitement for a film that’s yet to even grant us a trailer. The absence of which makes every tiny morsel all the more newsworthy. So, with that in mind, we can now bring you a cleaner look at Jason Momoa’s Aquaman.
This is, in fact, the very same image Snyder debuted earlier in the year – but minus the “UNITE THE SEVEN” text plastered on top. This textless version appeared as part of EW‘s “What we know so far” coverage of the movie, which also includes portraits of Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. With an entire year to draw out the character reveals, it’s likely that The Flash and Cyborg will be treated to their own special artwork in the coming months.
Elsewhere on the Aquaman front, Latino Review has once again published another DC-inspired rumor, this time concerning the aquatic king’s trident. In particular, where it may make a future appearance.
Beware all those who wish to venture forth. We must stop you briefly to issue a SPOILER ALERT!
Waller’s role as the head of Suicide Squad’s dealings certainly implies that if any of the crew go up against the Justice League, any subsequent items they steal would probably wind up with her. As Momoa’s role in BvS is reportedly only a cameo, how his most prized possession winds up in the hands of the opposition will make for an intriguing plot development indeed.
Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice arrives in theaters on March 25, 2016, followed by Suicide Squad on August 5, 2016.
