Another Clever Muppets Trailer

Earlier this week we posted the first trailer for the upcoming movie, The Muppets. It was unique in the way that it delivered the actual Muppets. The trailer played off as a typical romantic comedy called Green with Envy and then out of nowhere the Muppets surfaced. I will admit that I am not a fan of the Muppets, but I give them credit for the clever marketing. It made me laugh and now I kind of want to see the film. Now they have unleashed yet another clever trailer, this time it's called The Fuzzy Pack, which is clearly a copy of The Hangover Part II's Wolf Pack. Again, I will admit that this is some very clever marketing. I laughed a little more at this trailer than the first. Still not too excited for this one, but it looks like it has potential.

Now the studio has unleashed yet another clever trailer, this time it’s called The Fuzzy Pack, which is clearly a copy of The Hangover Part II’s Wolf Pack. Again, I will admit that this is some very clever marketing. I laughed a little more at this trailer than the first. Still not too excited for this one, but it looks like it has potential.

The Muppets is written by Jason Segel and Nicholas Stoller with James Bobin directing. It stars Jason Segel and Amy Adams. Check out the new trailer below.

On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, and his friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets’ former stomping grounds. To stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate. With secret, signature, celebrity cameos, ‘The Muppets’ hits the big screen Nov. 23, 2011.

I'm an avid watcher of films and I just love discussing and sharing them with the world. I enjoy horror, sci-fi and mostly any genre under the sun, plus I have a slight obsession with Blu-ray's and the whole high definition craze.
