Clint Eastwood Returns To Acting In Trouble With The Curve

Clint Eastwood has become more well-known for his directorial efforts over the past decade, for such films as Gran Torino and Invictus. But, the filmmaker will return to the front of the camera shortly by starring in Trouble With The Curve.

First Showing is reporting that with the production delay of A Star is Born, the J. Edgar helmer will star in the feature directorial debut of his longtime business partner, Robert Lorenz.

The film will follow an aging baseball scout who’s losing his sight. He heads on one last road trip with his daughter to scout a promising prospect in Atlanta.

Eastwood and Lorenz are in the middle of finalizing their deals with Warner Bros. and once their deals are close, they’ll begin looking for an actress to play Eastwood’s daughter.

Trouble With The Curve seems promising, as the pair’s previous projects together, including Mystic River and Million Dollar Baby, have been critically and commercially successful.

What do you think? Looking forward to seeing Eastwood back in front of the camera?
