Conan The Barbarian Red Band TV Spot

A new red band trailer for Conan The Barbarian has been released. Hitting theatres in 3D on August 19th, the film stars Jason Momoa as the titular hero. It looks pretty cheesy, over the top and violent but then again, this is a reboot of the 1980's Arnold Schwarzenegger version, so expect it to be pretty similar.

A new red band trailer for Conan The Barbarian has been released. Hitting theatres in 3D on August 19th, the film stars Jason Momoa as the titular hero. Lots of blood and gore, shirtless men wielding swords, decapitations and more than enough snarky growling is what Conan The Barbarian looks to bring to the table. Admittedly, judging by what we’ve already seen, the film will probably be a mindless good time, if nothing else.

Jason Momoa looks like he’s really pulling off the character and for a summer blockbuster, this really doesn’t look too bad. It will likely be low on plot/character development but heavy on bloody action and gruesome gore. For a film like this, that’s absolutely fine with me.
