We’re just a couple of months away now from the release of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, and as the marketing machine continues to turn at full speed, concession items have been released which offer up a look at some new promo art from the highly anticipated movie.

The highlight here is most definitely the shot of Batman and Superman coming to blows, an iconic piece of imagery which will hopefully find its way onto a poster sooner rather than later. Notable by their absence are Aquaman and Wonder Woman, and it’s particularly surprising that there’s no sign of the latter after she’s been heavily featured in the trailers and TV spots.

Of course, it’s no bad thing that the focus is being kept on the titular heroes of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, as it is supposed to be their movie. One could only assume that fans would much prefer the focus being on the “V” part instead of the “Dawn of Justice” subtitle, right?

Starring Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman and Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from Man of Steel, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to open in theaters on March 25th, 2016.
