The movie, which is set to hit theaters on September 9, follows an ex-Navy seal played by Mehcad Brooks, and road trip gone awry. Embarking on a road trip to New Orleans with his girlfriend, portrayed by Serinda Swan, and some other buddies friends, they ill-fated gang stops at a roadside store and hear a disturbing store by owner Chopper (played by Sid Haig).

Chopper tells the group about the story of Lockjaw, a fabled creature who is half-man, half-alligator. An inbred local man, Grimley, lost his family to a monstrous white alligator. He’s driven to madness by his loss, leading some to believe that he turned into the creature.

The group is determined to find Lockjaw and the old cabin in the forest that was where it was supposedly born. While camping, they discover that Lockjaw is real, and the locals are hiding a secret that jeopardizes everyone.
