Game of Thrones and soon-to-be-Aquaman star Jason Momoa has seemingly opened talks to headline Relativity’s long-gestating redo of The Crow.

Word comes to us via ComicBookResources.com, pointing to a recent Instagram post of Momoa with director Corin Hardy. Contrary to reports that Hardy had exited the troubled reboot, Warner’s King of the Seven is seen having a few pints of the Black Stuff (read: Guinness) with the filmmaker, indicating that The Crow retelling is very much still on at Relativity.

It’s had its wings clipped numerous times before, with directors and actors alike exiting the feature before it could really take flight, but could the potential addition of Momoa be the one to really jump-start The Crow? Alas, Relativity’s financial woes have only lumped further pressure on the budding reboot, but this is a project that has been simmering in various stages of development for the better part of a decade. Let’s hope those fortunes will change sooner rather than later.
