Right now, it seems like so many people have become fixated on who’ll be the next James Bond that they’ve forgotten how it’ll actually be quite some time before the big reveal occurs. After all, Daniel Craig is still playing the super spy for one more picture – and that won’t storm cinemas for another year.

Speaking of which, many details pertaining to the flick that we can only refer to as “Bond 25” at the time of this writing were officially disclosed just last week. For now, we have to make do with knowing who rounds out the cast and a synopsis to go along with that, with the film’s actual title remaining a closely guarded secret.

Thanks to Daily Express though, we’re able to indulge in some visual evidence, as they’ve snapped a couple shots of Craig and co-star Jeffrey Wright on the set of the upcoming blockbuster (seen below). This is especially exciting for fans of 007’s close ally, for Felix Leiter’s long been a staple of the franchise. In fact, doubly so because Wright is really the only guy to have played the character on various occasions.

Now, it remains to be seen exactly how Leiter fits into the grand scheme of things, but I hope tradition is maintained by him showing up at an unexpected moment. Hey, as long as he fares better than his predecessor in License to Kill, I think he’ll be alright.

For more, be sure to check out the aforementioned synopsis (via The Hollywood Reporter):

“Bond is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica after leaving active service. But his peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.”

Bond 25 arrives in theaters on April 8th, 2020.
