Daniel Radcliffe Is The Devil We Know In Darkly Funny Horns Trailer

Sure, this fall is going to bring the requisite horror schlock like Ouija and Annabelle, but what I'm looking forward to way more is Alexandre Aja's twisted, darkly funny Horns, a horror thriller about a young man (Daniel Radcliffe) who wakes up one morning to find that he's suspected of his girlfriend's murder and that he's sprouted rather noticeable horns. Now, following a Comic-Con panel for the movie, RADiUS-TWC has dropped a great new trailer for the film, highlighting its blend of horror, murder mystery and black comedy.

Sure, this fall is going to bring the requisite horror schlock like Ouija and Annabelle, but what I’m looking forward to way more is Alexandre Aja’s twisted, darkly funny Horns, a horror thriller about a young man (Daniel Radcliffe) who wakes up one morning to find that he’s suspected of his girlfriend’s murder and that he’s sprouted rather noticeable horns. Now, following a Comic-Con panel for the movie, RADiUS-TWC has dropped a great new trailer for the film, highlighting its blend of horror, murder mystery and black comedy.

Based on the novel by Joe Hill, Horns looks plainly like it’s going to be a great time. Radcliffe hasn’t done a ton since Harry Potter (the only role I can remember him in since that franchise is Allen Ginsberg in the excellent Kill Your Darlings), but this looks like a terrific part for the actor. In the trailer, he appears to have perfect comic timing, and we all know that Radcliffe’s range is superb. I’d see Horns for him alone, but you’re telling me I get Juno Temple, Max Minghella, James Remar, Joe Anderson and Heather Graham as well? Double sold.

Horns opens on October 31st. Check out the trailer, and the nifty new poster, below and let us know whether you’ll be keeping an eye out for it.

“Horns,” a supernatural thriller driven by fantasy, mystery and romance, follows Ig Perrish (Radcliffe), the number one suspect for the violent rape and murder of his girlfriend, Merrin (Temple). Hungover from a night of hard drinking, Ig awakens one morning to find horns starting to grow from his own head and soon realizes their power drives people to confess their sins and give in to their most selfish and unspeakable impulses – an effective tool in his quest to discover the true circumstances of his late girlfriend’s tragedy and for exacting revenge on her killer.
