Set your calendars for Dec. 16: not only will the first full-length trailer for the hugely anticipated Dark Knight Rises be premiering before Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, but also, a teaser trailer for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey might be attached to the film as well.
While The Dark Knight Rises has received more press than seems humanly possible, we haven’t such much for The Hobbit, and the teaser trailer will be the first real glimpse at the film. Dark Knight Rises already has a teaser trailer, which you can watch right here, but WGTC is still extremely eager to see a full theatrical trailer.
This information all comes from Variety’s Jeff Sneider, who tweeted yesterday, “Expect to see THE DARK KNIGHT RISES trailer in front of SHERLOCK HOLMES 2… And MAYBE even a HOBBIT teaser.”
