New Dark Knight Rises Synopsis Revealed

Film Cell Ltd., which is a licensee for Warner Bros. film products, released a film cell plaque containing some interesting images and a very brief synopsis. While the promotional artwork is subject to modification or change, the plot is directly from the studio. Read on for details, which contains some very mild spoilers.

It’s been a while since there’s been news on The Dark Knight Rises’ plot but today we heard something interesting that you may want to check out.

Film Cell Ltd., which is a licensee for Warner Bros. film products, released a film cell plaque containing some interesting images and a very brief synopsis. While the promotional artwork is subject to modification or change, the plot is directly from the studio. Here’s what it had to say:

“When Commissioner Gordon stumbles upon a plot to destroy the city from within, Bruce Wayne gets back into action as the Batman. Waiting for him is the mysterious Selina Kyle and Bane, a lethal adversary on a crusade to tear apart Batman’s legacy piece by piece.”

Though this is a very vague synopsis, it does give a little detail as to where the film may possibly be heading. It more or less confirms what we know but hey, this is The Dark Knight Rises we’re talking about, the smallest piece of news is sure to excited just about anyone even remotely interested in the film.

The Dark Knight Rises will be released in theaters and IMAX nationwide on July 20, 2012.
