Deadpool 2 Featurette Reveals How Juggernaut Was Created

For those of you who don’t know, Deadpool 2 is scheduled to complete the journey to home video tomorrow, and it would appear the foul-mouthed mutant has taken control of the marketing campaign. Throughout the last week or so, we’ve witnessed an onslaught of promotional ballyhoo - not that we’re complaining, mind you - including a new teaser, which, by the way, one can’t help but feel is teasing the third installment in the series.

Nevertheless, if you’re not interested in looking to the future, you can dwell in the past with a new clip from the impending home video release of Deadpool 2. Courtesy of Yahoo, the snippet – which you can check out below – will “lovingly” take you behind the curtain of the 20th Century Fox production and completely spoil the biggest, well-kept secret of superhero cinema. Therefore, if you’ve yet to see the film, turn back now.

Featuring commentary from Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, David Leitch and Ryan Reynolds, the roughly two-minute and thirty-second featurette goes into sufficient detail on how Juggernaut was created, and ultimately concealed from the public eye until release. Not to mention, Leitch also takes a cheap shot at Reynolds toward the end, which alone is worth a viewing.

However, if the featurette isn’t enough to make you pry open your wallet, you should know that Deadpool 2: The Super Duper $@%!#& Cut will also be included on the home release. On it, you’ll find “fifteen minutes of unrated goodies,” including an audio commentary done by the aforementioned filmmakers. I mean, surely watching the creative team poke fun at the pending amalgamation between The Walt Disney Company and 21st Century Fox makes this one worth picking up, wouldn’t you say?
