Though Avengers: Infinity War is dominating headlines left, right and center, there’s another comic book sequel on the horizon. And it just so happens to feature Josh Brolin in a villainous role.

We are, of course, referring to Deadpool 2, Fox and David Leitch’s hotly-anticipated follow-up that places Brolin in the shoes of Cable, a futuristic freedom fighter who’s traveled back in time to retrieve (and presumably capture) Julian Dennison’s fiery mutant.

He’s not the only buzzworthy newcomer to Deadpool 2, though, given Fox has also cast Zazie Beetz in the role of Domino (real name: Neena Thurman), a fan-favorite character whose luck and good fortune practically defy belief. And it’s those same abilities that are thrust into the spotlight thanks to today’s all-new TV spot.

Heralding the return of Colossus (Stefan Kapicic) and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand), Fox and David Leitch’s Deadpool 2 has upped the ante quite considerably no thanks to the casting of Terry Crews, Shioli Kutsuna, Julian Dennison and Bill SkarsgÃ¥rd as souped-up mutants.

Exactly how they factor into the zany, larger-than-life story of Deadpool 2 remains to be seen, but with just over three weeks to go until release, it won’t be too much longer before fans have the answers they so crave.

Look for Deadpool 2 to open big on May 18th, by which point we should have a better understanding of Drew Goddard’s X-Force team-up movie. It’s still incubating in the early stages of development, mind you, but Ryan Reynolds, Zazie Beetz and Josh Brolin are all expected to return, particularly when you consider that four-film arc for the latter’s Cable.
