Deadpool Invades Spider-Man: Homecoming In Hilarious Fan-Made Posters

One of the best and most enjoyable relationships in comic books involves Spider-Man and Deadpool. The wall-crawler has teamed up with the Merc with a Mouth on multiple occasions and their love/hate dynamic has made for some very interesting reading over the years. While fans would love to see the two side by side in live-action, it's just not going to happen, especially as Marvel and Fox teaming up appears to be well outside the realm of possibility. However, a couple of very inventive fans have taken those new posters for Spider-Man: Homecoming and provided, well, an unexpected twist.

While fans would love to see the two side by side in live-action, it’s just not going to happen, especially as Marvel and Fox working together appears to be well outside the realm of possibility. Thankfully, then, a couple of very inventive fans have taken those new posters for Spider-Man: Homecoming and provided, well, an unexpected twist.

As you can see in the gallery above, Deadpool makes his presence felt by pushing Spidey into the water and off the side of Avengers Tower. Both posters are pretty damn funny and very much in the Merc’s style, making for some great pieces of artwork that fans will no doubt appreciate.

When Deadpool 2‘s marketing campaign kicks off, it obviously won’t feature Spider-Man or any other imagery related to Earth’s Mightiest Heroes due to the fact that the character’s adventures don’t take place within the MCU. However, there’s more than enough material in the X-Men Universe for the wise-cracking anti-hero to take aim at, and that alone should prove to be a lot of fun.

Spider-Man: Homecoming reaches theatres this July, and while the Deadpool sequel currently remains undated, it’s expected to be released sometime in 2018. As always, watch this space for more.
