In terms of new footage, we have some previously unseen shots of Morena Baccarin as Wade Wilson’s (Ryan Reynolds) love interest Vanessa Carlyle, as she firmly explains to her captor, Ajax (Ed Skrein), that she’s not your typical damsel in distress. Plus, there’s the Merc With a Mouth himself, sliding about with a rose in an attempt to convince the ladies that this is really a love story.

Directed by Tim Miller, Deadpool also stars T.J. Miller, Gina Carano, and Brianna Hildebrand, and is set to be released on February 12th, 2016. Take a look at the official synopsis below and let us know if you’re digging the new TV spot.

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
