Not content with simply delivering new glimpses at Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice in this month’s issue, Entertainment Weekly has also released a new still from Deadpool, showing Ryan Reynolds in costume as the eponymous Merc with the Mouth.
We’ve already seen Reynolds suited up as the fan-favorite mutant via official promotional images and set photos, but this appears to the be the first official still from the film, as the CGI around the all-white eyes is fully rendered. That means that Deadpool will utilize the same realistic color palette and cinematography that Fox’s X-Men and Fantastic Four films have, visually placing the character firmly within the same universe.
[zerg]Directed by Tim Miller, Deadpool is slated to blast into theaters on February 12th, 2016 and stars Reynolds alongside Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Ed Skrein, Andre Tricoteux and Brianna Hildebrand.
