Deadpool Wishes Fans A Happy Thanksgiving In Fun New Promo Image

Deadpool's marketing campaign is unique to say the least, so it probably shouldn't come as a surprise that Ryan Reynolds has Tweeted out a new promo image of the Merc with the Mouth celebrating Thanksgiving in a typically unexpected style. Deadpool‘s marketing campaign is unique to say the least, so it probably shouldn’t come as a surprise that Ryan Reynolds has Tweeted out a new promo image of the Merc with the Mouth celebrating Thanksgiving in a typically unexpected style. The photo was accompanied by a message which, well, pretty much just goes to show why Deadpool is going to be R-Rated.

“I forget. Is a turducken stuffed with three additional meats, or four? Happy Thanksgiving.”

A new trailer for Deadpool is expected to be released next month, and as we get closer to that, we’ll no doubt start seeing more and more official images rather than just promo ones like this. That being said, though, this is still a pretty cool way to remind fans that the film is on the way and it’s definitely appreciated.

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional (and popular) anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds), who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humour, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, Deadpool is directed by Tim Miller and is set to be released on February 12th, 2016.
