Disney Still Plans To Make An R-Rated Deadpool 3

If one thing's for certain, it's that the future of Deadpool 3 is anything but clear. While the Merc with a Mouth will definitely be heading back to the big screen at some point (after all, the first two films made too much money to simply ignore), there've been conflicting reports from all over as to how Disney plans to integrate the loquacious Wade Wilson into the MCU.

There’s been plenty of speculation as to what the future holds in store for Deadpool, though. Some outlets noted that Marvel Studios was unsure if they wanted to make a third film, while other reports said the series might be making the jump to Disney’s upcoming streaming service. Frankly, you’d need to put together your own guide in order to keep track of each and every rumor, but we finally may be able to lay all the confusion to rest.

Speaking exclusively to We Got This Covered, an industry insider recently spilled the beans on Deadpool 3. It seems that, despite what other reports and rumors indicate, Disney and Marvel fully intend to make a third film. Better yet, it looks like the studio has no intent to sanitize the series’ trademark style, so you can fully expect the follow-up to be rated R.

What’s a little less clear is how Deadpool himself will integrate into the MCU. It definitely looks like Wade Wilson is going to be a part of the ongoing franchise, but it’s still up in the air as to how Kevin Feige and the rest of the creative team intend to pull this off. Our industry source did mention that the Merc might simply break the fourth wall, and tell audiences directly how he’ll fit into the bigger picture, but further details on that are still unclear.

For now, we’ll have to wait and see just what Marvel has in store for us, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated on any additional info as it comes down the pipeline. That being said, tell us, how do you think Deadpool 3 should handle the Merc’s MCU debut? As always, let us know down below in the comments section.
