And the Marvel rumors just keep on coming. Over the past couple of weeks, speculation has been flying at a furious pace around the internet, with everyone claiming that they have some kind of scoop on Marvel’s ever expanding cinematic universe. Now, as Avengers: Age of Ultron gears up to hit theatres in the US, we have another intriguing bit of news that involves one of the studio’s phase 3 films: Doctor Strange.
According to Bleeding Cool, the sorcerer supreme will be making his debut on Iron Fist, one of Marvel’s Netflix shows that’s coming down the pipeline. Does this mean that Benedict Cumberbatch will be putting in some face time as well? The website’s sources weren’t clear on that matter, as the studio may just choose to show the character in a way where we don’t see his full face. However, as Bleeding Cool notes, it’s very likely that Cumberbatch will, at the very least, provide the voice.
Of course, no details on how Strange will factor into the events of Iron Fist have been revealed just yet, but choosing to introduce him first on the small screen is an intriguing prospect nonetheless.
We’ll keep you posted as soon as we hear more on this juicy rumor, but for now, tell us, do you want to see Doctor Strange introduced first on Iron Fist?
