Doctor Strange Set Photos Showcase Benedict Cumberbatch’s Sorcerer In Action

Production on Scott Derrickson’s Doctor Strange continues apace today, and as one of the more high-profile features currently in active production, inevitably a new batch of set photos have surfaced.

This time around, eagle-eyed fans have captured shots of Benedict Cumberbatch in action as the Sorcerer Supreme, donning the famous costume and crimson cape as Marvel’s mad scientist.

First spotted by the Cumberbitches – or should we say Cumberpeople? – filming on Doctor Strange is taking place on the streets of London. Thanks to Twitter’s Gif support, there’s a fleeting snippet of ‘footage’ included in Anything Cumberbatch‘s find, which is really a small scene of the actor himself opposite Chiwetel Ejiofor’s Baron Mordo. Below that, you’ll glimpse a larger still captured by Cumbernation.

Doctor Strange will open up a whole new dimension within the Marvel Cinematic universe when Derrickson’s feature opens on November 4. Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton, Mads Mikkelsen, Michael Stuhlbarg and Chiwetel Ejiofor complete the casting call, with the latter preparing for “something unique.”
