Does ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’ have a streaming release date yet?

The extremely rough countdown is on!

And that’s a wrap on the mainline Indiana Jones franchise. With Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny having finally reached theaters, the world has all the pieces it needs to drink in the full story of the titular action hero, from his history-making escapades in Raiders, to the father-son team-up of a lifetime in The Last Crusade, all the way up to now, where he ticks off one, last, rousing box before hanging up the fedora for good.

Of course, for some folks, the collection won’t quite be complete until all five Indiana Jones films are tucked safely into their Disney Plus watchlists, and if you happen to be one of those people, you may wonder how long you’ll have to wait to watch Dial of Destiny at home.

When does Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny release to streaming?

There is, of course, no exact streaming release date for Dial of Destiny at the moment, as the film has only just dropped in theaters today. We can, however, temper expectations for such news based on a few factors.

First of all, we know for sure that when it does release to streaming, it will release on Disney Plus. Lucasfilm, after all, is owned by Disney, and given that the other Indiana Jones films are already on the platform, there’s no question where Dial of Destiny will end up.

And, because of that, it’s safe to assume that it will follow the usual Disney Plus streaming release parameters, meaning we can expect the film to stay exclusively in cinemas for about 45 days, which in turn means the absolute earliest we could expect a streaming release is somewhere in the middle of August, with early October being the most likely ballpark. This, of course, is subject to the film’s performance at the box office, though it’s unlikely to perform either poorly or lucratively enough to cause too much of a shakeup.
